The child-care worker will provide educational and play activities for the children. Recreational opportunities are also offered to the children, including taking them to the Zoo, Theatre, Movies, Library, Toys ect. Anyone wanting to donate items to the organisation - books, videos, DVDs, CDs toys, clothes, or art materials please contact Tsebo Foundation. It would be very much appreciated
The child counsellor will provide emotional support to the children who have witnessed or have been victims of domestic violence. This will be done through counselling. Group work will also be offered to these children to help them share their home experiences and to develop their own coping mechanisms. Services offered to the children will be given by the child-care worker and child counsellor.
The Basic Counselling Course lasts for a duration of 15 sessions, with three hours per session, whereas the Advanced Counselling Course lasts for 12 sessions with 3 hours per session. There is one three-hour session every week.
The Shelter will provides temporary (4 to 6 weeks) emergency accommodation for 10 abused women and their children at any given time. emergency shelters are specifically designed to provide a safe, family-friendly, therapeutic environment where adults, youth, and children can begin to heal from trauma and establish goals towards self-sufficiency.
The Foundation has awareness nitiative to minimize the number of accident victims. We provide educational programs on accident prevention and road safety for children and teens to promote behavior that guarantees their safety.
Career Guidance Campaign which is aimed at encouraging learners to apply on time for admission to post-school institutions (tertiary institutions) and thus avert possible stampedes and long queues that take place at the beginning of each academic year. The programme assist children in identifying the strenghts and weakeness and possible career path based on the assessments.
